Signals at railway crossings and level crossings

road signs | signals at railway crossings and level crossings | y1 | flashing red light | practice driving licence theory online | körteori
Y1 Flashing red light

Stop! Road users may not cross the stop line, or if there is no such line, the signal itself. The light signal consists of two light openings at the same height, alternately flashing red, and a triangular screen with rounded corners and the tip pointing downward. The screen may also have a white border. Below the red light openings, there may be a circular light opening emitting flashing white light to make the crossing more visible. Turn off the engine to reduce emissions, especially during long waits.
