A supervisor is someone who drives with a student in order to teach the student how to drive, or private driving teaching (övningsköra) as it is called. The supervisor must have a supervisor permit in order to be a supervisor, which consists of a supervisor training. The supervisor and the student must havewent to the introduction course together before they start the driving lessons. Keep in mind that the supervisor has full responsibility during the private driving lessons. There are specific requirements for being a supervisor, these are, among other things, that you must have reached the age of 24 and have had a driver’s license for at least 5 years. The supervisor permit is valid for 5 years.
