Learning word list Obligation to stop

Obligation to stop

At a stop sign an obligation to stop applies and then you’re obliged to give way to all traffic on the intersecting road. In addition, you’re always obliged to stop there and stand completely still for at least three seconds, even if there is no stop line or traffic on the road you intend to drive on to. If there isn’t any stop line, you should stop at the stop sign or at least before the crossing road.
