Moving gaze (or in Swedish ’Rörlig blick’) means constantly looking around and taking in what is happening in your environment, even what happens far ahead, without looking at anything specifically longer than necessary. Having a moving gaze insidefor instance a densely populated area is very important as you can spot pedestrians, children or cyclists faster and can act quickly if needed. Having a moving gaze is something which you’ll learn only by driving, so this ability is usually related to one’s driving experience. Especially in the beginning when you start your driving lessons, it can be extremely difficult to have a moving gaze as you need to focus very hard on learning to drive a car.
